You will work with existing strategic arts partners, sector organisations, and Council family, increasing the impact of cross-sector investment, and develop new models that reach underserved audiences through partnership. Context and guidance for the function is provided by: » Toi Whitiki - the Arts and Culture Strategic Action Plan » the Auckland Council Public Art Policy » the Auckland Music Strategy » the investment approach in Council's 10-year budget This is a newly created function where you will work closely with the Creative Strategy lead. There is scope for you to make the function your own where an increase in access and opportunities to participate in arts and culture can be realised. He k?rero m?u: About you We are seeking for Somebody with proven practice in developing and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships within and across organisations with multiple stakeholders, that is results orientated and is a great influencer. A strong external arts sector network is also important. You will have a strong capability to link strategy with business results. You will have excellent written and verbal communication expertise, with demonstrated capability to target appropriately for a range of audiences. To be prosperous in this function you will need to have: » Good knowledge and working knowledge of tikanga and te reo and practice in working with M?ori or within M?ori paradigms » 10+ years' practice in a function that blends creativity and partnering » A track record of working collaboratively across diverse areas of work and stakeholders » A strong knowledge of the benefits of co-investment and partnership » Knowledge of the creative sector and stakeholder networks » capability to influence change often with the advice provided to elected members and decision makers » You will also hold a significant bachelor's degree in business management and/or strategy development, planning or policy or an equivalent qualification You will also have a significant bachelor's degree in business management and/or strategy development, planning or policy and 10+ years' practice in the creative sector.
