Working with an established and diverse portfolio, you will be predominantly nurturing and managing large, substantial accounts which will offer you the chance to interact and negotiate with varying levels of management across a multitude of industries and backgrounds. There will also be the opportunity to build robust relationships with smaller entities and grow your share of the market. Being the only sales person in the company located in the South Island, and with a sales territory covering several centres across the South Island, you are spoilt for choice with an broad pool of potential sales opportunities to drive business development and seriously boost your earning potential. Your time will be spending 60% focusing on Christchurch and the remaining 40% servicing the rest of the South Island, suffice to say this function will involve plenty of travel. With the main focus of this function being Building Relationships and Delivering Solution-located Sales, Communication will be your absolute strength. Your proven capability to form genuine relationships with clients and with those you work alongside will be a dominant trait all over your professional history. Just as dominant and apparent all over your work history will be your written communication capability; your execution of documentation, reports and proposals will come naturally.
