   »Permanent position, 32-40 hours per week. located in Whanganui
Jigsaw Whanganui is a well-established Te Tiriti social service organisation supporting families and wh?nau across the Whanganui, Rangitikei, and Ruapehu communities. Jigsaw Whanganui works intentionally to uphold the mana and dignity of wh?nau and their whakapapa.
Reporting to the Team Leader Programmes you will be responsible for co-facilitating programmes that support violence-free relationships and effective parenting for families and wh?nau.
You will provide group and individual programmes to people who want to strengthen consciousness of themselves and build positive family relationships.
Key Job responsibilities:
   » Meet with programme participants to best understand their needs, hopes and aspirations, and set significant goals
   » Co-facilitate group non-violence and/or parenting programmes, engaging with participants to make positive behaviour changes
   » Advocate for participants and their families and assist them to access appropriate resources
   » Work collaboratively with the wider agency team and community networks to ensure wh?nau and families receive the appropriate support
You will be comfortable working in a highly relational waywith a strengths-located approach, integrity in your mahi and committed to children's safety and wellbeing. You are energetic, tenacious, and able to work safely and respectfully with vulnerable and diverse people.
This is a permanent position located in Whanganui. Hours available are 32 to 40 per week (Monday to Friday). Jigsaw Whanganui is offering a competitive income, an annual wellness package, professional development support, and comprehensive peer supervision.

Person Profile :
   » Proven practice in facilitating individual and group programmes
   » expertise of group processes and adult learning practices
   » A significant tertiary qualification in social services or therapeutic discipline is desirable but not essential
   » Able to connect and work with and alongside wh?nau and families in our community through whanaungatanga and manaakitanga
   » A strong commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and able to work in a Te Ao Maori environment
   » Confidently contribute to and uphold Jigsaw Whanganui's kaupapa
   » Commitment to reflective practices through effective use of peer supervision and other supports
   » Commitment to professional development, further training and learning
   » Good administration, time management and technology expertise
   » Good self-care and self-consciousness expertise, able to maintain good boundaries
   » Must have a valid, full and clean NZ driver licence and access to a reliable car
