As a Pae Arahi o Te Tirat? you will lead a team of advisors, analysts and administrators who deliver quality reporting and insights to improve performance across the M?ori Land Court.
You’ll be passionate about creating a culture in your t?ma that focuses on court user service, continuous improvement and standardisation, accountcapability and employee engagement.

Key Job responsibilities:
   » Performance leadership abilities across the M?ori Land Court: driving operational and service delivery consistency and standardisation
   » Understand and meet our court users and the public’s expectations and use client feedback to inform service delivery standards
   » Business owner for the M?ori Land Court digital technology (P?taka Whenua) to ensure business practices and the technology support data quality and are compliant with information management principles
   » Making the connection between business performance information and continuous improvement, to advise managers on business-driven improvement opportunities within the group (across systems, technology, processes and procedures)
   » Ensuring system business practices and solution support data quality and are compliant with information management principles
   » Leading the development of appropriate processes and systems required to provide significant performance information, continuous improvement and operational policy support to M?ori Land Court
   » Ensuring timely and accurate official and ministerial correspondence is prepared
   » Ensuring that channels of communication (website, social media and printed materials) contain information, which is timely, accurate and fit for purpose
He p?kenga tou / expertise and practice
To be prosperous in the function you’ll need the following:
   » An knowledge of Ng? Kaupapa M?ori
   » Competence in, or a availability to become competent in, Te Reo M?ori
   » An knowledge of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
   » Tertiary qualification in appropriate discipline (desirable but not essential)
   » A high level of business acumen
   » capability to read, understand and interpret complex documents, including legislation, financial, numerical and business information
   » Well developed verbal and written communication expertise
   » Sound judgement and political sensitivity
   » Management practice with previous practice in managing and developing employees
   » A credible track record in implementing complex change initiatives over multiple sites
   » practice managing in a high-performing, customer-focussed culture
   » Knowledge of the NZ justice and courts systems is desirable

income range: The appointing income for this function will be between $116,741 and $152,450 located on expertise and practice.
