Job Offer: Bar & Box Office Duty Manager:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Basement Theatre Closes 28 Apr 2021 Posted on 7 Apr 2021 Region Auckland Work type Part time employment, Casual employment Work classification Performing Arts, Other ShareWe're seeking an practiced hospo starto manage Basement Theatre's bar and front of house approximately two nights a week.You'll bepart of a small but perfectly formed Venue Host team who create a warm, welcoming and safe vibefor all our artists and audiences.this function not only manages the bar, but also supervises ticketing and general show front of house tasks. Training will be available for those that have not practiced theatre front of house or ticketing activities. Shifts will be available on a casual basis, generally taking place between Tuesday - Saturday, 5pm - 2am. The rate will be $25/hr. The function:Bar & Box Office Duty Manager Thisis a function which manages all needs of visitors during Basement's opening hours,including bartending, selling tickets and maintaining the cleanliness and safetyof the space. For this functionyou will have: » At least two years practice in hospitality and a dedication to a high level of customer service; » Knowledge of, and interest in, beer, wine, spirits & cocktail making; » A friendly, warm and welcoming presence; » Excellent communication expertise to work as part of a small team and assist in reporting activities; » A high standard for cleanliness and the upkeep of hospitality systems; » An interest inperforming arts. You will be well-presented, reliable and available to work weekends and nights. These expertise/attributes will offer you an advantage above other candidates: » An LCQ (orideally a current Manager's Certificate); » knowledge of tikanga, te ao M?ori and capability to speak te reo; » Familiarity with ticket sales and show front of house procedures; » Knowledge of NZ Sign Language; » Current first aid certification.
