About the function – Atu mo te mahi
As a Service and Support Advisor-Triage (SASA-T), you’ll be the first point of contact to ensure all inbound calls are answered efficiently and effectively. These calls could be Out of Hours medical services or the 0800 Healthline service.
This varied function involves responding to non-clinical questions, directing people towards local services, carrying out medical reception tasks and passing on the more severe calls to our clinical staff. This service operates 24/7 and your shifts will be rostered.
You will need to be available to work one evening per week and two weekend shifts per fortnight. this function is fixed-term.
About you – Pehea koe:
   » Current student of a Health Science Qualification:(5th year MBChB and above, final year nursing student or final year paramedicine student)
   » Current technical expertise with various applications such as MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
   » Acute Health Assessment training is preferred
   » Customer service practice and a strong customer service ethic
   » The capability to speak different languages would be advantageous
   » Comfortable working in a fast paced, high stress environment
