Job Offer: Dairy Farm:Job description:Dairy FarmPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($25/hr+)Job location: Morrinsville Region: Waikato/Coromandel practice: Limited practice Necessary Listing Added: 10/10/2022 We have a position available, for immediate start on our 520 cow dairy farm 5 min out of the town of Morrinsville. We have a herringbone stlye cowshed and milk twice per day. There are currently 3 full time staff, but a forth person is required. The roster is 12 days on 2 off untill mid november, then its 11 on and 3 off. On the 24th December the farm goes the Once per day milking for the remainder of the season. This is a family dairy farm and always exciting 'other things' going on. Some idea of farming would be ideal but anyone who is interested to give Information technology a go should apply. The hours can be long - 5.30am start, but certainly when theres a full team on the jobs during the day get knocked out pretty quick and we get regular long breaks during the day. Its a fun work environment and handy to everywhere - coromandal, hamilton, taupo, rotorua... auckland.... Great fun working with animals - cows, calves, we even have some sheep. The accomodation is best suited for a single person, but can handle a couple at a push. Rent will be deducted from wages and will include power and internet. Jobs include, general farm work, fencing, tractor driving, quad bikes, general matainance and stock work. Our farm is not flat so pleasant views! We even have a small lake with a cabin and kayaks, zipline etc We'd need you for about 2 months. certainly till mid dec, maybe christmas. Skills:
