Corban Estate Arts Centre
The Organisation
Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC) is a dynamic arts precinct located on the Corban Estate for the promotion, development and practice of the arts, culture and heritage reflecting the diverse communities of West Auckland.

The function

Not only will you excel at the day-to-day operational needs of the function, but you will also be highly adaptable, and client focused in dealing with the variety of challenges that may arise.
Key aspects and requirements of the function include, but are not limited to:
• Day to day communication with tenants, contractors, public or significant authorities.
• Prepare and present monthly H & S and facilities reports.
• Manage CEAC's Health and Safety System, i.e., ensuring contractors report onsite, manage accidents,
etc.
• Maintenance management of both the tenancy space and services, i.e., day to day tracking plus
identifying ad hoc maintenance.
• Manage correction of reported building faults i.e., managing contractors responding to faults and/or
rectifying minor faults without assistance.
• Coordinate and assist the Director in delivery and scoping of projects and CEAC's building work
programme.
• Maintain and update operating procedures, contact lists and supplier schedules.
• Primary response to emergencies, during or outside of the estate's normal operating hours.
• Manage site security
• Manage other procedures and processes as directed by the Director.
• Escalate all issues as and when required to the Director.
• Logging and reporting all technical faults and arranging all office equipment fixtures and fittings.
• Co-ordinating the booking in of visitors and clients.
• Carrying out periodic health and safety checks.
• Carrying out risk assessments.
The Person

You will also be someone who thinks strategically, demonstrates leadership abilities with your innate capability to work collaboratively, and who creates an atmosphere of trust and productivity.
This position will also require excellent influencing expertise to manage relationships across CEAC, internally and externally.
to execute well, you will need the following mix of practice, skill, and knowledge:
• Minimum of three years in a facilities administration, property administration or customer service function is
highly desirable.
• High level of knowledge and knowledge of building services, compliance, health and safety and trade
practices
• High level of technical aptitude to keep CEAC on track with fast-changing technologies
• An excellent all-round communicator with the capability to build effective relationships and collaborate
easily, as well as a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
• A team player who is highly focused and goal oriented, capable of exercising sound judgement, has good
initiative and is proactive
