Our vision is to be an accessible, welcoming, busy arts and cultural centre that accommodates the interests of a wide variety of visitors, residents, artists and community members. Environmental sustaincapability and innovation drive our practices. The function This is a new position and part of the senior team. This is a wide-ranging function, requiring an individual who learns quickly, can work across many different communication and marketing areas, is enthusiastic about CEAC's mission and can think creatively. You will have great storytelling expertise, and you'll love creating engaging content, managing and leading all marketing and advertising campaigns and on-line communications. You will be keen to lead and develop the marketing and communication strategy and create significant marketing collateral. You will also analyse and report on data to measure the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns and implement steps for improvement As a skilled and creative communicator, you will be comfortable writing for different audiences and cultures in a range of formats. This will include newsletters, social media posts, website content, eDMs, speeches, corporate publications, and media responses. The Person As a prosperous candidate, we foresee you having a toolkit of creative ideas and practice to draw upon. You will bring proven practice and critical thinking expertise into the team while maintaining a view of the ?big picture' and the strategic organisational goals. You will also be someone who thinks strategically, demonstrates leadership abilities with your innate capability to work collaboratively, and who creates an atmosphere of trust and productivity. This position will also require excellent influencing expertise to manage relationships across CEAC, internally and externally. You will have: » Previous practice in a marketing, communications or digital content function » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise, both online and offline » expertise and discipline to work autonomously with minimal supervision » Highly organised, innovative and proactive - capable of following through with ideas and projects » A natural storyteller, capable of engaging our audiences in a variety of channels » A keen eye for detail in both words, pictures and motion » Excellent time management and able to meet deadlines » expertise and practice in running online social media platforms and the capability to create and schedule engaging organic and paid content across different social media platforms » Basic photography and videography expertise (capturing and editing) The position attracts a income of NZ$55,000 - NZ$68,000 per annum pro-rata depending on the candidate's expertise and practice.
