Ko t? m?tou mahi – Our function
As Senior Advisor, you will provide day-to-day support and advice to Te Ringa Raup? Deputy Chief Executive M?ori and the broader Te Kurutao team on information requests, issues management and projects. You will also engage with national teams across K?inga Ora to ensure that Te Ringa Raup? is kept well informed of matters that relate to the work programme of the regions, including recommending strategies and responses for dealing with a range of operational issues to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions.
This position sits in Te Kurutao, whose function Information technology is to ensure K?inga Ora can fulfil its legislative obligations to protect and enable M?ori interests and aspirations in relation to housing and urban development.
Ng? p?manawatanga ?u – What you will bring:
   » You’ll have at least a basic proficiency in te reo M?ori me ?na tikanga, grounding in te ao M?ori, and an knowledge of K?inga Ora’s responsibilities in respect of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
   » You’ll have the demonstrated capability to identify, collate, organise and analyse data to provide information and inform and enable decision-making
   » You’ll be adept at clearly and concisely conveying information and ideas through both oral and written communication
   » Naturally, you will have exceptional interpersonal expertise that enable you to build significant, trusting relationships with stakeholders.
Please note that a current NZ driver’s license is required in this function.
