This is a well-recognised group home builder with a long-standing history and a brand recognised for their highest quality in design. They are large players in the market, especially Auckland and have contracts with Kainga Ora (Housing NZ) and private developers but also, they work with clients in Design and Build with plenty of opportunities to price despite the current market. this function sits in their busy Kainga Ora build division.
Due to growth, they are looking for a QS Manager to provide commercial and team leadership abilities and oversight.

Your function involves:
   » Completing job estimates
   » Contract administration
   » Financial reporting and variations
   » Orders preparation
   » Supplier management/negotiating
   » Team management and mentoring
   » Site visits during construction
Key background:
   » 10 + years of residential QS practice including knowledge of NZ Building Code and NZ Building Standards, including NZS3604:2011, 3910/ETC contracts and 3915
   » Tertiary qualified with a Diploma/Bachelors degree in CM/QSing
   » Top communication, negotiation and relationship building expertise
   » Excellent team management capability including being able to guide and mentor
   » Strong financial nous, excellent pricing systems expertise
   » Strong knowledge and knowledge of various Building Estimating and Management Software
   » Drive and want to build a career within this company
salary: income $140K - $150K + Benefits
