More information aboutGrowing Up in New Zealandis available atwww.growingup.co.nz You will be joining a passionate field team who are confident with engaging with Pasifika study participants and their families, gathering interview data using an online toolie. digital software alongside face-to-face interviews and observations in private homes in locations within the Auckland and Counties-Manukau region. You will genuinely embrace our commitment to support the connection and engagement ofGrowing Up in New ZealandPasifika study participants. In this varied and interesting position, the primary focus of the field team function will be locating and retaining study participants, scheduling home visits, and gathering interview data face-to-face or online as required. As part of this function you will promote the study during the interview process and leave participants feeling valued and aware of their future involvement as part of this important longitudinal study. this function requires excellent knowledge and relationships with Pasifika families residing within the study boundaries, be a fluent speaker of a Pacific language and have previous practice working within Pacific communities. An knowledgeand commitment to the cultural values of those from different cultureswill be essential.You will have a high level of computer expertise, knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and the capability to be trained in ourCustomerManagementSystem. A clear command of written and spoken English will also contribute to the success of this function. You will need to have excellent interpersonal expertise and the capability to engage with participants (not exclusive to Pasifika families) in an enthusiastic and positive manner is essential.
