The Opportunity These functions report directly to the Commissioning Services Manager and are responsible for supporting the organisation in undertaking outcome focussed, commercially sound commissioning projects to deliver quality and value-for-money services. The functions manage a range of procurement projects to deliver the best possible social results, using procurement activities, contract management, supply chain processes, and project management principles to deliver planning, sourcing, and execution of procurement commissioning processes. As part of a professional team you will bring skills in commissioning procurement activities, you will need to be a procurement practitioner and show a high level of insight to create ?outcome-located procurement' drawing from your practice within either product or service-related environments, ideally from within the public sector. About You You will bring the capability to manage procurement projects, and have strong clear communications, relationship development, and stakeholder engagement skills which are crucial to the success of this function, as is an open approachable, collaborative, and influential style. You possess 5+ years of practice in a procurement function (end-to-end procurement, including sourcing, contract management, planning, supply chain management, etc.) within a complex environment, able to deal with ambiguity, be solutions orientated and drive for quality performance, along with practice in the Government Rules of Sourcing, and a proven background the delivery of procurement results. Ideally, you are an practiced Commissioning Manager!
