If so, the Marketing & Communications team at the Open Polytechnic have your next dream opportunity. About the function As the Senior Communications Advisor you will play a key function within the Marketing & Communications team including: » acting as first point of contact for general media enquiries, and developing proactive content for media use including creation of tactical plans to engage significant media; » content creation for external websites and publications; » leading assigned internal communications projects, including working with our senior leadership abilities team and supporting change communications as Open Polytechnic contributes to the Reform of Vocational Education; » managing Open Polytechnic social media strategy and channels; » strategic input into communications development; » acting as communications representative on the crisis management team; » student communications and other ad hoc projects; » event management for assigned corporate events. Our ideal candidate is: » passionate about communications and PR – with a significant tertiary qualification; » an outstanding communicator – managing multiple internal and external relationships; » able to demonstrate a track record of producing high quality communication content that engages target audiences and meets stakeholder needs; » interested in further developing their social media management expertise; » motivated with a keen eye for detail; » resilient and organised, with excellent time management expertise.
