Community Events Coordinator
(Fixed Term)

This is an exciting function supporting our Venues & Events team, located at Forum North. Information technology is an ideal position for someone who has a good Event Management background, excellent customer service expertise and a desire to get involved in your community to support a range of events. this function is fixed term for 6 months (parental leave).
To be prosperous for this position you will have:
practice dealing with community and professional event organisers or similar relationship expertise
   » Knowledge and/or practice working within council structures and processes is an advantage
   » Event Management qualifications and/or planning and execution practice is an advantage
   » A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
   » Strong computer expertise, especially with MS Office packages
   » Strong attention to detail and time management
   » capability to effectively prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines
   » Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices
   » Good written and oral communication
   » Demonstrated capability to work well within a team environment as well as independently.
There will be the requirement for you to work some weekends and flexible hours due to the nature of our business.
