Children can explore greatal lands and characters through 3D images and maps; students can access the information they need at their fingertips quickly switching from subject to reference points to online tutorials; and businesses can connect directly with clients and shareholders with personalised, real-time updates. Having just relocated from the UK and set up our head office in New Zealand, we are now looking for a dynamic, practiced arts and multimedia expert to join our team to lead our business development in the US and Asian markets. As our Director International Business Development (Arts) you will » Work closely with the CEO to identify and develop an art and multi-media business development pipeline to achieve sustainable growth and development, particularly in the US and Asian Markets » Research and seek out business opportunities and key contacts to enhance and further the company's growth within existing and potentially new markets. » Lead the development of proposals and presentations for new business » Work closelywith the client/s to understandtheoverall approach, target audience and special requirements needed. » Lead the art curation team ensuring the right material is selected and displayed appropriately within the constraints of a digital or web environment. » supervise and monitor the art projects creating a working timeline to accomplish goals on time and budget. You will have significant arts and multimedia expertise and practice including: » Substantial international sales practices as a fine art advisor and/or dealer with an emphasis on the American and Asian markets (existing and emerging) » Significant expertise and/or practice of curating collections including establishing provenance and critiquing art styles » Significant expertise of the international artworld and the workings of art museums and galleries with an emphasis on the US and Asian markets » A well-established network within the US and Asian art world specifically within established institutions (galleries, museums, auction houses) » Significant practice of web located/digital art collections Initially, the position needs to be located in Christchurch, New Zealand to work closely with the technical development and curation teams but the position will ultimately require international travel to develop leads and monitor client projects with our international client base.
