The service aims to build the confidence, resilience and wellbeing in taiohi who are living with mild to moderate mental health and addiction related issues and social stressors. Our skilled team of registered health professionals and youth workers offer a range of positive youth development methods like talking therapies, coaching/mentoring and kaupapa M?ori interventions that focus on positive cultural identity. This community-located mobile service operates within local schools and clinics to enable easy access to these supported interventions. As part of our wh?nau, your function would be to understand and apply tikanga such as whanaungatanga and manaakitanga into everyday practice. Marewa service by; » Leading a youth focused team to deliver support to young people to build their capability to cope with life challenges and positive decisions within schools and community settings. » Being part of a leadership abilities team, attend regular meetings and Team Coach professional development sessions. » Contributing to a National rostered after-hours service on a rotating basis. This a permanent, full-time function, working Monday- Friday, 8.30am- 5.00pm, in Rotorua. You | M?u We're looking for Somebody with a demonstrated capability to inspire, develop and lead a youth focused service. You'll be positive, energetic, organised and a great communicator. You must be either a Registered Nurse, Registered Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist as well as an inspirational leader.
