Offer: Wanted - Builder / Hammerhand:Job description:Wanted - Builder / HammerhandPayment: Paid Position ($25-35)Job location: Wellington Region: Wellington practice: practice Necessary Listing Added: 18/02/2021 Cohesive Solutions is a small but growing team of guys carrying out earth quake strengthening work in the Wellington CBD. we At Presenthave three qualified builders, a cabinet maker/builder, a hammer hand and two labourers and we’re looking for a few more people to come aboard ASAP. Due to an increasing workload we have a number of openings and have work for people with varying practice in the construction industry from hammerhand to practiced carpenter. At a minimum you’ll be familiar with framing walls and ceilings and installing plaster board and be able to measure accurately. You’ll need to be physically fit and be able to look at something and figure out how Information technology works or is put together. practice won’t be as important as a can-do attitude, decent work ethic, the capability to follow instructions and your fit with the rest of the team. Generally we work Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, aim for 40 hours and try to avoid weekend work when we can, however one month out of every four a few of our team will work Thursday – Monday. We are inside all the time, so you’ll be warm and dry. Work onsite varies, sometimes Information technology is a bit tough and tricky, but usually consists of demolition of GIB and framing, drilling holes in concrete, gluing bolts, drilling holes and/or cutting then installing steel, framing, GIB, suspended ceilings etc. Come for an interview and we’ll show you what we’re up to at the moment. You should have an apron, hand tools and a drill, we’ll supply everything else you’ll need.
