Resene offers fantastic training and support and equips you with all the tools of the trade to allow you to provide superior service to both the trade and retail sides of this business. As the Sales Representative for this region, you will work alongside the Area Manager and you will be given a large existing client base as well as develop new business. Key responsibilities include: - Managing and maintaining relationships with current accounts - Growing your accounts - Identifying and actioning new business potentials - Relationship building with clients, customers in the store, and team members. We are looking for a confident and energetic team player who has a proven history of solid sales conversions and exceptional account management experience. Ideally, you will come from a similar industry where you can jump straight into this role from day one. You will need to possess passion, drive, be a great team player, have an outgoing personality, and engage customers. As well as the above skills and attributes you will be well organized and efficient when it comes to paperwork and have the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Due to the nature of this role you are required to have a full driver's license. This position will involve day trips to other centers in the Dunedin/Otago region to service Resene customers/clients. You will have full use of a company vehicle as part of your remuneration package. A major component of this role is connecting with tradespeople and to get to know their requirements. Therefore, your day will start at 7.30 am as this is crucial for you to build a rapport with your customers and to get to know their business. A background in painting/decorating would be advantageous to allow you to hit the ground running however if you possess the skills and attributes we are seeking our client is more than happy to offer full training in their products and services.
