Be a Lead Advisor for our kaupapa M?ori research methods within our wider Customer System and Intelligence team.
We want all people in New Zealand to receive the support they need to avoid injury and manage their own wellbeing.
Our Lead Advisors, will play a critical function in this mahi, ensuring that the practices and perspectives of people in New Zealand are well understood and can inform ACC’s operational and strategic direction.
In this function, you’ll provide specific advice around Kaupapa M?ori research methods and engagement with M?ori communities and customers. This includes ensuring rigour around the collection and analysis of information about M?ori customers, and connecting insights across the business to advance the knowledge and impact of these.
You’ll take a collaborative approach to your work, leading a community of practice across the Customer Group to bring together thinking on M?ori data, research and design. Strong engagement capcapability and a drive to help the business to put the customer at the heart of everything we do will be a critical to your success.
We’re committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi by providing space for m?tauranga M?ori located approaches to lead, support and develop approaches, tools, actions and knowledge that creates space for M?ori and Tangata Tiriti (non-M?ori).
What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function will include the following:
   » significant practice in leading engagement approaches and research about M?ori communities and customers
   » The capability to understand our business in depth to enable opportunities for customer influence
   » Partnering with external partnerships and relationships to generate insights about M?ori customers
   » practice and knowledge of kaupapa M?ori research methods
   » Previous coaching and/or mentoring practice
