Offer: Executive Director, Implementation Unit:Central Agency Shared ServicesJob description:Job DescriptionWe are pursuing an Executive Director practiced in leading the delivery of major government programmes at a senior level to lead the Implementation Unit, working at the heart of government.This is a senior leadership abilities opportunity advising ministers, chief executives, and senior officials on how to strengthen the implementation of high priority programmes and initiatives across government. If you thrive in fast paced environments, have practice implementing large, complex, multi-year and multi-agency programmes, and seek to apply your practice across the wider public sector then this is the opportunity for you. You will report into the Chief Executive of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and lead a small, high performing team that is looking to build on its success in the first two years and improve its operating model for the years ahead. Your mahi will involve building trusting and effective relationships to influence senior leaders in agencies and across the centre of government to accelerate progress, remove challenges and drive for results. The Implementation Unit works in partnership with the Treasury on all its assignments. To be eligible for this position, you must be able to attain and maintain an appropriate security clearance.
