They manufacture and market a comprehensive range of wood-based building products. The Nelson division is currently looking to fill a variety of vacancies for their branch based in Brightwater. The normal shift times are » Morning shift 5 am to 3.30pm or 6 am to 2.30pm » Afternoon shift 3.30pm to 2.00 am Your role will include but not limited to » Prompt reporting of hazards, incidents, accidents and near misses » Meeting daily production targets set for the team » Ensuring quality standards are meet » Running of various areas of the mill as requested by the line manager » Operating 8 - 20 tonne plus forklifts » Preparing product for dispatch » Provide support to the supply chain through collecting loadings and organizing products for dispatch What we can offer » Work life balance with Monday to Thursday/Friday (role dependent) » Starting rate of $22.50 per hour » Fixed Term, Permanent or Temporary options available » Internal/external training and career development » 40 to 50+ hours per week » For permanent applicants we can offer an excellent benefits package including overtime rates, superannuation and corporate medical To be eligible you must be able to pass our pre-employment screening which includes: » Ministry of Justice Checks » Drug Screening including synthetic testing » Reference Checking (2 - 3 working references) If your wanting to work for a nationally recognized company, then apply on line with an up to date CV today.
