We are on the hunt for a Maori Business Advisor to join our BusinessTeam, you'll work with entrepreneurs and businesses in the Auckland region. This is primarily a client relationship management function working one on one with M?ori businesses to support their growth and sustaincapability.You will be proactive in identifying and assisting M?ori business with the aspiration, commitment and opportunity to innovate and thrive.Part of this assistance will be to establish rapport and understand business capcapability needs, then connect businesses to significant opportunities, business support and innovation services. This would include the capability to connect in with the Regional Business Partner Network programme on behalf of NZTE and Callaghan Innovation. This entails working with a portfolio of business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to grow their business' capcapability and capacity to deliver innovative solutions for their customers. This is a challenging and compensateing function that spans public and private sector. You'll drive to make a tangible and measurable difference for Auckland's M?ori business owners and entrepreneurs. He k?rero m?u: About you You have a passion for and a strong background in business, you will bring priorpractice ina business advisory function or as an owner or manager of a business which has grown their business. You have a genuine passion for our city and you're ready to make a difference for T?maki Makaurau, in particular in the area of M?ori business development. You seek to be challenged in a function where connecting with business owners is at the heart of all you do and appreciate the contribution that business and innovation makes to Auckland's economy. You bring a sound knowledge of the Auckland M?ori business ecosystem, great communication and people expertise, a desire to contribute to M?ori economic development and a strong commitment to use these expertise to ensure Auckland is a great place to do business.
