Senior Capcapability Advisor M?ori
   »Six-month secondment or fixed term
The Learning and Capcapability team within the People Group is responsible for the effective design and development of critical organisational development and performance initiatives, projects and programmes of work, tobuild our organisational culture and grow the cultural capcapability of our people to ensure that our workforce has the right skills and qualities to lead social development in our new context.
MSD has a deliberate focus on building capcapability of M?ori and Pacific groups as identified in our strategic documents:
   » Te Pae Tawhiti - MSD Statement of Intent
   » Te Pae Tata - M?ori Strategy and action plan
   » Pacific Prosperity – Strategy and action plan
The primary purpose of this function is to provide project, programme and people leadership abilities that supports capcapability development by:
   » Building relationships with a defined group of key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
   » Identifying learning and capcapability needs to strengthen and enhance practice and to support our workforce to achieve organisational goals.
   » Guiding the design, development, management and implementation of best practice learning and capcapability services and programmes that develops MSDs cultural capcapability.
You will work in partnership with M?ori, Communities and Partnerships, managers and trainers, assimilating information from across the organisation and facilitating the creation of initiatives and supports that are well-informed and timely. You will collaborate with others to deliver coherent learning and capcapability strategies and programmes that meet the needs of the business.

   » Current or recent practice as a Senior Advisor or equivalent (within an L&D environment is preferable).
   » The capability to influence without authority.
   » Project management skills and the capability to wrap the right skills and resources around key organisational change initiatives.
   » Proven practice of developing & implementing internal programmes.
   » Demonstrated practice of advising and collaborating with key business managers.
