Auckland Regional Public Health Services (ARPHS) delivers public health services on behalf of the three district health boards in the Auckland region. We strive to protect health, prevent disease, reduce inequities and promote well-being for the people and environment of Auckland.

We have a great opportunity for you to join the Health Improvement Team as the ProgrammeManagerfor Healthy Auckland Together (HAT). HAT is an innovative regional coalition coordinated by ARPHS. The programme operates across T?maki Makaurau with agreed goals and approaches, and is a multi-agency collaboration involving 30+ health and non-health partners.
this function sits within the Health Improvement leadership abilities Team which works across the areas of alcohol, smokefree, nutrition, and workplace health and wellbeing. this function provides an opportunity for Somebody with advanced population health skills and expertise, well developed partnership skills, and proven influential and collaborative leadership abilities practice.
Key responsibilities of the function include:
   » Contributing effective stakeholder relationship management and building ARPHS' profile in the region.
   » Taking a hands-on approach to programme delivery in addition to providing co-ordination and leadership abilities to partner agencies.
   » Taking overall responsibility for ensuring planning and reporting on programme milestones and results are implemented within agreed timeframes.
   » Applying a health equity lens to shape T?maki Makaurau, so all thrive.
   » Actively participating in the leadership abilities of the Health Improvement Team.

About you | He k?rero m?u
Given the deliverables of this function, you will be someone who:
   » Is committed to Tiriti o Waitangi and achieving health equity for people in T?maki Makaurau.
   » Is passionate about protecting Aucklanders from the harms connected with unhealthy food, lack of physical activity, and excess weight.
   » Has a minimum of three years' practice in health promotion or a significant discipline, alongside an undergraduate or post graduate qualification within an appropriate discipline or progress towards completion.
