Education New Zealand – Manapou ki te Ao (ENZ), is a Crown Agency responsible for international education, benefiting New Zealand socially, culturally, and economically. Promoting New Zealand education and working to support the delivery of education services offshore, ENZ also administers scholarships to New Zealanders wishing to study overseas, and scholars seeking a New Zealand education.
The People Culture and Capcapability team is pivotal within ENZ, with our objective being to develop and enhance ENZ's capcapability. We achieve this through our savvy recruitment and selection, performance management, organisational development, change management, learning and development and remuneration practices.
Te ?hua o Te T?runga – The nature of the position
Following an internal promotion, we are currently seeking an practiced Senior to manage, develop and implement specific people, cultural and capcapability programmes, and projects in support of our business goals. The People, Culture and Capcapability Group provide an organisational platform on which we deliver sound advice, guidance, coaching and support to staff on a global scale, with ENZ's team of 100 people located in 14 countries around the globe.
Reporting to the Director, People, Culture and Capcapability, and as part of a small and close-knit team, you will deliver end to end HR advisory support. You'll be a high performing generalist or talent acquisition specialist with the practice and learnings to prove it. Self-managing, you'll have the mindset to apply both innovation and continuous improvement to processes and policies. From designing and facilitating programmes to enhance our culture, to guiding performance across all ENZ locations, you will always act in the best interest of ENZ and our people.
Ng? tino P?kenga/Wheako – Essential expertise/practices for the function
Whereas a tertiary qualification is highly desirable, Information technology may be offset by broad, significant practice. Information technology is however a requirement that all candidates must be able to display cultural competency and/or a passion to develop this. With a significant amount of recruitment at present, this function could suit an practiced recruitment professional, or a generalist seeking global human resource management practice.
