Accounts adjunct/Payroll

• Hybrid function; Tauranga located; fabulous corp organisation
• Quality practice in a similar function essential
• AR, AP and Payroll practice required; circa $80k

This is a great opportunity for a strong finance administrator who has large payroll practice, as well as a strong AP/AR background. You will need high attention to detail and outstanding time management expertise. This organisation is known for it’s great culture, and offers a flexible/hybrid permanent function, located out of the Tauranga office. The ideal candidate will have had corporate practice in this space.
Key Payroll accountabilities:
• Management of payroll process, trouble shooting and ensuring deadlines are met
• Managing a payroll of permanent, contract and casual staff, therefore strong legislation required
• Dealing with emails around payroll and preparation of IRD returns
• Payroll reconciling
Accounts Payable Accountabilities:
• Allocation of incoming mail
• Processing creditor emails
• Ensuring all invoices are correctly entered into the system
• Dealing with staff and supplier agreements
• Reconciling supplier statements monthly
Accounts Receivable/ Corporate Invoicing
• Collating of data and monthly input of corporate invoices
• Monitoring inbox activities
• Allocating daily, customer payments
• Reconciliations
• Customer care around queries, when necessary
The function is also responsible for general finance administration around credit card processing and everyday cash.
Key expertise and requirements to be prosperous for the function:
• Intermediate MS Suite
• Large corporate practice in a similar function
• Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise
• A friendly and enjoyable team spirit
• Not a deal breaker but ICHRIS and Maximo/ Workday systems advantageous.
