Process WorkerLocation Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Temporary Salary to Category Manufacturing/Operations > Process Worker » Full-Time and Part-Time Enjoy Your Weekend Off » Opportunities for Advancement and Ongoing Training » Wiri Location Key Responsibilities: » Safely process and inspect raw materials according to quality specifications. » Operate allocated production lines, efficiently performing processing tasks to meet individual and group targets. » Perform manual handling duties, including lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching. » Be a reliable and respectful team member who honors work commitments. » Actively engage in safety practices, following all safety rules and being mindful of potential risks. » Maintain a clean workspace and perform cleaning duties as required. » Adhere to high levels of personal hygiene while working with fresh food in a cold environment. » Store and maintain materials, equipment, and tools appropriately. » Identify and escalate food safety and quality issues, hazards, and risks. » Collaborate with department team leaders and colleagues to achieve production targets. Continuous Improvement: » Ensure all business activities comply with relevant legislation, legal standards, and ethical practices. » Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain best practices at all times. » Adhere to the company's environmental policy. Work Health and Safety: » Ensure compliance with work health and safety regulations. » Promote and communicate health, safety, and environmental matters to relevant staff. Skills: » Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and systematically in accordance with policies and standards. » Proficiency in understanding and following instructions and procedures. » Proven teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with others. » Strong written and verbal communication skills. » A demonstrated record of reliability and motivation. » Ability to respond calmly and methodically to challenges. » Good physical fitness is required, as manual handling of up to 10 kg is involved.
