We have a rare opportunity for a Chief Economist to lead delivery of our Agency's strategic economic advice and analysis on key social sector issues. This is a newly formed function as we look to increase our policy and economic capcapability across the Agency. The function works closely with our Executive leadership abilities Team and the wider management team. About you Are you a senior economist or applied researcher who enjoys contributing to public policy? Are you a thought leader who can see innovative solutions to problems? Do you enjoy mentoring and developing others? We could have the perfect function for you. Who are we looking for? We're looking for someone to join us who has: » Significant practice in public sector economic analysis or research setting. » The capability to lead the design, development and application of economic models to inform policy advice. » practice in development and analysis of strategies to enhance wellbeing through economic methods and models. » Managed complex stakeholder relationships, and represented their organisation, at a senior level.
