Job Offer: Primary Evaluative Lecturers – AUT School of Education (Hourly Paid Positions):Maori Pacific JobsJob description:Job DescriptionPrimary Evaluative Lecturer Positions – Initial Teacher EducationThe School of Education/Te Kura M?tauranga in the Faculty of Culture and Society, AUT University, is a leading provider of education programmes at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. We are pursuing applications for an Evaluative/visiting Lecturer to work in the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching & Learning and the Master of Teaching & Learning (Primary) programmes. This is a contract position to visit, support and evaluate student teachers on practicum placements. candidates should state their practice in mentoring as senior teachers and expertise of the appropriate sector in Aotearoa New Zealand. Please note that full teacher registration with the Teaching Council of New Zealand is mandatory. The prosperous candidates will be required to travel across Auckland to visit students at their practicum school. The function would suit a recently retired middle or senior leader, teachers who are working part-time and teacher educators who have previous practice in Initial Teacher Education. We are unable to accept applications from teachers who are working full-time in schools.
