Our client is looking for a Commercial Electrician Foreman who can confidently lead and motivate a team to complete projects on time and within budget. You will plan, supervise and perform all phases of installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities. You will also perform cost estimates and projections for electrical projects; review and upgrade electrical systems; evaluate electrical procedures; meet with design engineers to ensure electrical needs are met; review electrical and contract specifications and performance criteria.

The Role
   » To be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of electricians and other staff in order to ensure the successful completion of electricial projects.
   » Inspect and implement electrical systems, analyze and troubleshoot electrical problems and provide technical oversight and guidance to electrical employees.
   » To be responsible for ensuring safety compliance, budgeting and costs, and developing project timelines.
   » Oversee and manage all electrical projects and personnel in a safe and efficient manner.
   » Plan, schedule and supervise all electrical projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
   » They must also provide training and instruction to any electrical personnel under their supervision, as well as ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
   » To be knowledgeable in all aspects of electrical systems and be able to troubleshoot any electrical problems that may occur.
   » Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and other electrical employees during installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
   » Assign duties, examine work for accuracy, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations.
   » Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair.
   » Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
   » Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and rectify the problem.
   » Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
   » Instruct and train staff to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
   » Prepare sketches and follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment, and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
   » To ensure that all health and safety procedures are being followed.
