Job Description

Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
We want to hear from researchers and writers who can dive into a variety of topics, make sense of diverse literature, and clearly communicate key theories, evidence, and debates. this function will suit someone who loves to read and write, who can manage their time, and work quickly to summarise complex ideas.
The Commission has broad and varied responsibilities for leading the public service. Engaging with theory and evidence helps us to better serve New Zealanders.
Topics may include: diversity and inclusion, Crown/M?ori relationships, pay equity, employment relations, leadership abilities, integrity and ethics, political neutrality, free and frank advice, stewardship, open government, performance management, recruitment and selection, and machinery of government. Outputs may vary from broad subject briefs to detailed deep-dives on a particular research question.
