A mid sized construction company working in the commercial, aged care, low rise, interiors and industrial space is viewed by several as reliable and a trusted main contractor that has stuck to their knitting. With a reputation for excellence built on decades of prosperous project delivery they enjoy repeat business from top clients. They are known in the industry for staffing their jobs with the right people, treating their subbies with respect, paying them on time and creating a reasonable work/life balance for their site staff.

Due to securing several new contracts, they are looking to secure an additional site manager.

You must have 5 years or more site located commercial construction management practice in NZ and be able to show a history of working on projects that ideally involve concrete, pre-cast, structural steel and interior fit-out. As a site manager you will be confident in your capability to deliver projects on time and to budget. You will also be confident and polished in your dealings with clients with naturally great verbal communication expertise.

The key background for this function is a carpenter by trade with a great eye for a quality finish and a leadership abilities style that fosters a positive and safe working environment.
