Job Offer: Mr Whippy Driver/operator:Job description:Mr Whippy Driver/operatorPayment: Paid Position ($21.20-$30.00)Job location: Auckland Region: Auckland practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 26/08/2022 We are seeking for Mr Whippy ice cream van drivers/operators to join our small team and work primarily on the Hibiscus Coast and in the Central Auckland area this spring and summer. Full or part-time fixed-term 6-month contracts and on-going part-time and casual positions available starting in September/October 2022. This is a great fun, community-located function. To be a prosperous Mr Whippy you need to be able to deliver the 'Mr Whippy practice' to our eager customers. A strong customer focus with a friendly attitude is essential, as is the energy to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are seeking for candidates who: » have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and like making people happy » are reliable, honest and able to work efficiently, unsupervised » are available to work at the weekend and/or weekday afternoons and evenings » have a full NZ driving licence and can safely drive a large, manual ice cream van » are clean and tidy operators who can follow food-safe serving procedures » can handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently » are problems-solvers and can demonstrate initiative People want ice cream on the weekends, during public and seasonal holidays and on weekday afternoons and evenings. Your availcapability to work will need to match at least some of these times. Previous work practice handling food is preferred, but not required. You’ll be working within a Template Food Control Plan and all necessary training is provided. We supply you with a uniform. The business is located out of Te Atatu South in West Auckland and you’ll need to be able to get to and from Te Atatu South each day you work. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
