We have a great opportunity to appoint an innovative and engaged Tutor/Senior Tutor in Health to the School of Health Sciences, Massey University. The School of Health Sciences includes staff with skills across a range of disciplines from Biomedical Sciences to Public Health which includes Environmental Health, Mental Health and Addiction, Health Promotion and Occupational Health and Safety. This is a full-time continuing position located on either the Wellington or Manawatu campus. This Tutor/Senior Tutor function will see you assist in delivery of core courses in the undergraduate programmes Bachelor of Health Science, Certificate in Public Health and Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions. Key attributes for the function: » practice in University teaching is a preferred key element of the position including teaching delivery via distance education » practice in the use of electronic and on-line technologies in teaching » A Masters, or higher postgraduate degree in Health Science, Public Health, or an allied area of Applied Science or Health » Highly motivated self-starter committed to excellence in teaching » Excellent communication, time management and relationship building skills What’s on offer?
