We are a working hostel and have great connection to help you to find a second job around this area! Wanderlust NZ is a 5 star silver Qualmark backpackers in the heart of Tauranga. We are the largest hostel in Tauranga with 110 beds total located on the waterfront right in the CBD of Tauranga city. The property has three kitchens, 16 bathrooms and 3 common areas all divided over 2 levels. The large balcony with harbour views is the star of the building and Information technology could become your ‘office’! We are more than just a place to stay, our newly renovated historic building, is the preferred stop for travelers and young adventurers wanting high quality, affordable rooms, from backpacker hostel style dorms to upmarket double ensuites. We are committed to protecting our beautiful natural environment, enhancing connections with our local communities, while delivering an amazing quality and safe practice, to all our guests. Casual Cleaner - Must be a responsible person with great work ethic - Having Cleaning practice at a similar accommodation is a bonus - Deliver and maintain quality service so we can ensure that guests are comfortable in a clean room and space - Second language is a bonus. Work is in the mornings from 7.30am to latest 1pm. Also working on weekends and public holidays Start date: Asap - end of June Night Warden Night warden shifts are 3 to 4 nights per week, from 9pm until 12am-1am, and being on call until 7.30am in the morning. Work includes working on weekends and public holidays. The job includes taking over from reception after 9pm. Doing late check-in's, answering phone calls, keeping the hostel clean and tidy and making sure noise levels are kept to a minimum. FREE high-speed internet and FREE laundry is provided! We are seeking for someone who is social, responsible, can take initiative and can handle large groups. If you speak multiple languages, that's a bonus!
