As part of the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Group within the Regulatory Services Group, you will have the opportunity tocontribute to supporting the safety, wellbeing and success of New Zealand communities. DIA's Regulatory Services Group is responsible for regulating anti-money laundering and countering financing terrorism (AML/CFT), gambling and digital safety in New Zealand. Our AML/CFT managery responsibilities have expanded and the Anti-Money Laundering Group requires talented professionals to join their operational team in Auckland. As a risk-located, responsive modern regulator, we provide effective regulatory services in an increasingly complex, borderless digital world. You will support the supervision of a diverse range of businesses under the AML/CFT Act and will contribute to the supervision, education, and compliance monitoring of regulated sectors in a robust, well-informed and targeted way. You'll be part of a team that confidently transitions from regulator to educator. You'll be outcome focused and enjoy being part of a team that is continuously improving our regulatory practice and performance. You will have: » practice working in a risk-located regulatory or compliance environment such as: business compliance monitoring, audit, investigation, fraud, accounting, risk management, business analysis or law. » An knowledge of modern regulatory concepts and functions. » The capability to work with legislation and other technical information and apply Information technology in an operational context. » Proven capability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. » Knowledge of sector business practices and/or the capability to speak more than one language is highly desirable.
