The company processes more than 2.5 million lines a year, employs over 130 staff and has a catalogue of almost 22,000 medical and pharmaceutical consumables. • located at the Auckland Head Office, this is an exciting opportunity for you take on an existing and established function in a well supported team environment. • You will be utilising your tertiary allied health qualifications and expertise, along with your interest in the medical environment as a Product Manager of their broad Medical and Non-Medical Consumables range – but focusing on your own key account in the health sector. • Highly regarded in the market, this employer is part of a larger group too, with exciting expansion plans to relocate 2024 from the City edge to South Auckland Purpose • To monitor and manage the flow of product supply both inbound (to the company) and outbound (to a key client) • To provide support and advice both internally and externally to ensure continuous product supply to this high profile client tasks in brief • Procurement - ie of products, supplier liaison and negotiation, some recommendation to your customer group • To work closely with your key Customer and suppliers - provide client with product info, handle queries on, ensure prosperous new product implementations etc) • Inventory - identify appropriate alternatives for out of stock product/monitoring stock levels etc) Administration - Maintain catalogue for your client, resolve product queries from in/external sources eg. price variances/product changes. Reporting & KPI’s (use of Excel & SAP – training on) • Product expertise – be a subject matter expert, maintaining expertise of developments in medical consumable products and changes in customer requirements • Standard Operating Procedures You • Will have a Tertiary Qualification in a health discipline • Excellent medical consumable product expertise • Relationship management expertise • Some practice dealing with suppliers/negotiation expertise • An opportunity to do something different! • Advance your career into that of Product Manager • You would also have to have an affinity now for a desk function as this is not a sales/travelling function On Offer • An open plan, family friendly office awaits as does a welcoming and dynamic Product Management team • Hours are 8.30am to 5pm (possibly flexible) • A 2 day WFH policy • Free onsite parking • A Southern Cross group discount is available • You may choose a weekly or monthly pay period • The company also generously provides a subsidised cafeteria (full meals) • Long Service Leave • Staff purchasing benefits • Wider progression within the group (ie other Auckland/New Zealand locations and in Australia).
