Support Service agent 21/284:Job description:Job DescriptionType: Permanent and Fixed Term 12 monthsHours: Full time Job location: Wellington Business Group : All of Government Service Delivery Branch: Digital Public Service income: $48,467 – $65,573 » Are you a team player who wants to work towards a common goal and make a real difference for the lives of New Zealanders? » The Support Services agent (SSO) is responsible for providing first level support to customers regarding usage and advice of AoG Services Delivery products and services. » You'll be working over a number of workstreams providing coordination and administration support services across the AoG Services Delivery Group. 1x full-time, permanent; 1x 12 month fixed-term / secondment opportunities. Working at the Department of Internal Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders. The All-of-Government Services Delivery Group sits within Digital Public Service branch and brings together the functions that deliver services to or for the public sector, enabling service delivery synergies to be optimised. The Group is responsible for standardising and consolidating agency ICT infrastructure and services and working with the vendor market to deliver modern digital procurement models for digital and ICT. Information technology also provides critical government services including the NZ Gazette and the Domain Name System and operates a portfolio of all-of-government websites. To be prosperous in this function you'll need: » excellent verbal and written communication expertise » practice taking meeting minutes » excellent interpersonal expertise » high proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and outlook programs » effective planning, prioritisation and coordination expertise to meet deadlines » be able to multitask to work across multiple teams and products » have financial administration practice raising purchase orders and goods receipting » contribute towards the continuous improvements of processes to improve efficiency and quality. knowledge or practice working with ICT services or digital products would be an advantage.
