If you want an influential function that drives and delivers across strategic partnership, we At Presenthave an opportunity for a 24 month FTC Senior Advisor Iwi and M?ori Engagement position. this function will be located at our Dunedin site (in the Regional Team) but you will be undertaking work across the region (which includes: Invercargill, Alexandra, Balclutha and Gore) so the prosperous applicant must be willing to travel to support the Regional Manager with Iwi engagement. About the function this function focuses on supporting the design and implementation of Oranga Tamariki engagement with Iwi and M?ori and to facilitate the development of strategic partnership with them Reporting to the Regional Manager Lower South Island, you will be participating in change initiatives along with monitoring progress in building operative partnerships and professional arrangements with Iwi and M?ori organisations. You will need to have well-developed communication expertise, both verbal and written to support Oranga Tamariki in maintaining, influencing, and negotiating with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels expertise and practices: » Proven practice of working and building strategic relationships with Iwi and M?ori organisations » The capability to influence and motivate transformative change » To be able to provide sound advice and to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences and build and maintain rapport with others » Confidence to apply your expertise and practices across a range of inter-agency functions and disciplines » practice in compiling, analysing and reporting on data in a way that meets decision-makers needs » Excellent expertise of Tikanga, Te reo and Whakapapa To be prosperous in the function, you must have had exposure to working in complex environments undergoing transformation. You must also have had practice in working with government agencies, Iwi/ M?ori, Pasifica community, NGO’s and community-located organisations.
