We are seeking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join the team. You don’t want to pass up this opportunity! this function is extremely flexible with lots of room to grow. The minimum workload for this function is about 10 hours per week. However, depending on your strengths and interests, you can take on more responsibility with time – increasing the workload if you’re keen for more hours. The business is currently growing, so this is an opportunity to make the function your own. About the function: You will supervise the Health and Safety requirements for the business. • Schedule and coordinate maintenance for machinery and vehicles (WOFS, regos, etc.) • Keep track of staff qualifications and trainings. Schedule refresher courses when required. • Keep staff up to date with policy changes, procedures, safety announcements, etc. • Plan and lead inductions for all new staff, and all new client work sites. • Organise the breakdown/callout roster About you: • NZ Health and Safety practice preferred. • Strong admin or coordination skills/background • You truly care about people and the company you work for. • Strong communication skills • Organised, efficient, and strong attention-to-detail • Take pride in your work and go the extra mile when needed • Have a clean full NZ drivers’ license • Must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.
