This work includes but is not limited to supporting the crew of theannual production,maintaining stakeholder relationships, and the operational and administrative management of The Trust. The General Manager performs a key function in providing continuity for The Trust and production processes year to year. Through their work the General Manager upholds and advances the values of The Trust. The General Manager reports to The Trust, and works closely with contractors and other staff as and when hired. The General Manager will regulalry work alongside members of The Trust in order to support the startegic direction of The Trust and Wellington Summer Shakespeare. The General Manager will also be a close connection for the production and creative team of each annual production, providing answers and approvals, and channelling queries and information through to The Trust. Key Characteristics and CompetenciesFor this position, We are pursuing a candidate who is: » Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and capability to lgain other significant software » Such as Wordpress » Efficient » Organized » Personable - demonstrating good interpersonal relationships » Self-motivated and self-governing » expertiseable of the Wellington Arts Community, including and especially in terms of fundraising venues and sources » Financially practiced and competent » Passionate about working in an arts environment » Adaptable » Excellent written and oral communication expertise QualificationsThe prosperous applicant will have the following » 5 years practice in a similar function and/or » An applicable tertiary qualification All competencies and Qualifications could be reviewed for the right applicant. This is a part-time contract function. The Trust are seeking an individiual who is able to commit between 15 to 24 hours a week expected to last until later this year with the oppotunity for extension.
