Warehouse OperatorLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 25 to 26 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Manufacturing Management » » » We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator for a full-time permanent position located in Paerata. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use and develop skills that they have previously gained in a similar position. They will report directly to the Warehouse and Logistics manager. The company manufactures New Zealand nutritional dairy products. The successful applicant will have experience in a similar position and a valid forkhoist license. They will provide efficient and effective management of inwards and outwards product and raw materials, control stock rotation and maintain warehouse inventory to quality standards. Their main responsibilities will include; » Contribute to and maintain a positive, safe and secure work environment. » Maintain a positive, helpful and friendly attitude towards fellow team members. » Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, together with relevant legislation and guidelines of regulatory bodies. » Maintain a public image which is compatible with the highest standards at all times whilst on the premises. » Ensure employee and visitor safety is a top priority in line with the company policy and board directives in all work activities. » Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across the business. » Process and prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). » Timely completion of all records fully, neatly and legibly. » Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately, including returns. » Safe and efficient storage of pallets, ensuring damaged pallets are identified and disposed of appropriately. The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday and the starting payrate will be $25.20/hr.
