We lead the mahi on a range of environmental issues including oceans and marine management, freshwater and geothermal allocation, freshwater management, urban water, forestry, biodiversity, and highly productive land. We have permanent positions available in the following two teams: » Freshwater and geothermal allocation - advising the Government on how to allocate scarce resources fairly and efficiently. » Marine - advising the Government on oceans and marine management to improve the health of our Oceans. These are challenging, varied and fast-paced work areas.You’ll be part of a high-performing team whose function Information technology is to: » Implement reforms to the resource management system » Provide advice to Ministers on the best policy options for New Zealand » Develop and test options for a range of national direction under the Resource Management system » Consult widely on policy options » Champion Te Mana o te Wai internally to promote knowledge and use of the concept as the overarching concept for freshwater policy » Effectively engage with Treaty Partners to collaboratively develop options on environmental management.
