Surveying/Cost Planning » » » Quality Assurance Inspector required for large long term project in South Waikato. As the successful candidate, you will need to be a self-starter who is highly motivated, well organized and committed to the highest possible work standards. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Include: » Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections in accordance with the audit/inspection schedule or as directed by the Performance and Compliance Lead » Identify defective works and non-conforming work practices so that timely and appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented » Ensure that inspections are carried out effectively and that non-conforming works are identified so that timely rectification is completed to the required standards Minimum requirements for this role include: » Minimum three (3) years of construction experience including relevant construction quality and technical management experience » Awareness of relevant International, New Zealand and Australian standards, both technical and those related to management systems » Good communication, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills » Solid relationship building skills » High level writing skills » Good presentation skills These are temporary roles.
