Service Technician (Electrical trainee)Job location:Auckland Rodney & North Shore Work Type: Temporary » » » »$23.76/hour, training, career development continuing function! »‘Essential services’ part of Australian Group »Very reliable company, distribute construction related products Our client • My client is renowned worldwide in their field, and their practice is in supplying solutions to the New Zealand construction industry • You will be located at their central Northshore Flagship Warehouse in the Service Department and joining the team as another Service Centre Technician (this is not a manufacturing environment) The function • To assess power tools, fault find, quote, service or repair with others as required in the Service Department • Pack and despatch customer orders and Trade Centre transfers • Produce quality work, following Occupational Health & Safety procedures • Unpack, repack or re-label shipments by hand in receiving, inspecting and identifying quality issues • Perform general labouring and cleaning tasks • Ensure tools are packed to the standard required for despatch • Computer systems (PRONTO, Word and Excel are used) • Follow up any enquiries or issues • You will also be trained in Dangerous Goods storage, handling and transport for local and overseas shipments • You will accurately perform cycle counts and stock takes On offer • Level 3: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7am to 7pm (start 14th Oct) • Level 2 onwards: Mon to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm or 7am to 3.30pm is possible • $23.76/hour, terrific team to work with! • Training (including Electrical Service Technician EST Course) provided as long as you have worked with electrical, tool or electronics equipment before OR have an Electrical Certificate of some description, Electrical studies knowledge power/leads/voltage etc • Very reliable company, great work conditions, Australian Group • ‘Best team I’ve ever worked with’ • Career opportunity available if interested, ie to step up and Supervise (not essential) Please click “Apply Now” for this very rare continuing opportunity!
