We are currently seeking a dairy farm hand for an 800+ cow barn dairy outside beautiful Hamilton! Ideal candidate would be available for 6 months or more (sponsorship possible for the right person), have a fun positive attitude, be passionate about working outdoors and with animals, and no practice is required if you are willing and happy to learn! Position has income compensation, a 12 & 2 roster, with a bedroom available in a shared farm house within walking distance to the farm. This a great opportunity to lgain about milking cows, the operations of a barn dairy, to be centrally located from most North Island destinations, and to work with a passionate team! Shed is a 50 bale rotary, with ACR; you will help with everyday milking tasks, shed wash and maintence, dryoffs and treatments, there will be opportunities to lgain about hoof trimming, minor procedures, and calving assitance.
