Our organisation works to a model of care centered around our four 'pou' (guiding principles) of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, arohatanga and rangatiratanga.

These values are integral to our practice and service. We deliver 30+ health and social services across the life span (i.e. from infants to the elderly) and have a team of 125 people working across Hamilton city and beyond.

We have a Personal Assistant(one-year full-time fixed term) available within Korowai Manaaki, Housing Service. This is a 40hr a week, primarily Monday to Friday role. On occasions you may be required to work the weekends depending on the support needs of the Housing Manager.

We are seeking a Personal Assistant who:
   » Prides themselves on a wh?nau first, tikanga based, wellbeing approach
   » Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our whanaunga through effective administrative practices
   » Has a positive and supportive mindset in supporting our whanaunga to achieve their goals and aspirations and can do this via excellent support to the Housing Manager
   » Takes a holistic approach to wellbeing

Specific requirements are:
   » Fully Covid-19 vaccinated and boosted
   » At least 3-5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant
   » Highly developed organisational skills
   » Maturity to handle a range of situations
   » An ability to work to tight deadlines
   » Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
   » Loyalty and a high level of confidentiality
   » Full drivers' license
   » Exemplary interpersonal skills
   » Strong planning and time management skills
   » Impeccable attention to detail
   » Advanced level of technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
   » Advanced level of technical proficiency in meeting environments e.g. Zoom, TEAMs
   » Works well as part of a team or can work independently and with initiative
Duties include:
   » Organising meetings and minute taking
   » Schedule all meetings and ensure the Housing Manager is in the right place at the right time with everything they need to achieve results
   » Manage the flow of the Housing Managers email and correspondence, including identifying and escalating urgent issues
   » Manage general information flow
   » Anticipate needs, identify issues and be flexible to change workflows at a moment's notice
   » Event management
   » Travel management and booking
   » Purchase requisition completion and budget management
   » Experience and knowledge in the housing sector would be an advantage but not essential
