Our Talent Service Delivery teams provide functional HR support to our 3,800+ people as they work to deliver on ACC’s purpose. We are seeking for an inspiring and energetic Payroll Managerto join our Talent Service Delivery team.
What can I expect?
As our new Payroll Manager you’ll be responsible for leading a team of four dedicated payroll specialists with a focus on delivering a positive employee practice. Together you will deliver a fortnightly company wide pay run and a smaller monthly board pay run ensuring all ACC employees are paid correctly and on time in conformity with current legislation. As the escalation point on any payroll issues, including overpayments and payroll adjustments, you will pride yourself on your capability to resolve any challenges in an accurate and timely way.
You will be joining us at an exciting time as we look to replace our core HR systems and will play a key supporting function in transitioning from our old to new systems.?You’ll be part of our supportive and friendly Talent Service Delivery leadership abilities team who work closely together to streamline key talent services for ACC leaders and employees.
What would I need to be prosperous in this function?
   » practice in providing end to end payroll services to a large complex organisation.
   » Demonstrated knowledge of and practice in the application of current and future legislation, including the NZ Holidays Act and other payroll related legislation
   » practice and knowledge in the design of employee records and information management systems and processes
   » Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement and innovative solutions to increase automation, improve process effectiveness and enhance employee practice
   » The capability to take a systems wide view, connecting the dots and knowledge downstream impacts of systems issues and changes
   » A great attitude and a curious, customer centric mindset
