The Boiler Room- adjunct Maker for Fit outs and Bespoke Furniture:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation The Boiler Room Ltd Closes 16 Mar 2022 Posted on 16 Feb 2022 Region Auckland Work type Full time employment Work classification Other ShareSusan Haldane and Gary Willis are seeking a Person who is a maker, has an eye for design with Carpentry, Manufacture and Installation expertise to work alongside and with Gary Willis at The Boiler Room.Gary Willis @ The Boiler Room designs and manufactures bespoke Furniture, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Fit outs to suit private homes, outdoor areas and workplace requirements. The Boiler Room designs new signature pieces tailored to support a specific aesthetic and functional specification. Employment Offer Gary is seeking a contractor for 30 - 40 hours per week with a preferable start date late February/early March 2022 Renumeration will be discussed on application. There will be an initial trial period of 1 week. If prosperous, a fixed term contract will be placed on a monthly basis Key Responsibilities and Accountcapability's: » General company operations: Assist the manufacturer in ensuring The Boiler Room outputs » Workshop adjunct in the manufacture, finishing and installation process. » Be reliable with agreed timeframes » Communicate significant information relating to project execution. » Have capacity to work with instruction without full supervision. » Maintain a tidy and ordered workshop » Driver's license and own transport to and from workshop at 32 Conreliable Road, Auckland » The workshop space is pre fitted with machinery and Information technology is preferable you supply your own essential hand tools Qualifications, expertise and practice: · Demonstrated capability to implement organisational strategy for manufacture. · Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, and achieving outputs. · Excellent organisational expertise, flexibility and capability to work well in a team. · capability to set priorities and meet deadlines. · Clear and articulate oral communication expertise. · Demonstrable practice of manufacture, to prioritise work and meet deadlines with well-developed time management expertise. » Be capable in operating machinery.(or be prepared to train in this operation) » Be capable of recognising a new skill that may require a request for training. » Maintain high quality of work and attention to detail. » Have capacity to lift and manoeuvre according to individual body frame » An knowledge of basic mathematics and measurement Links & Contact info: The Boiler Room How to submit the application: If you are interested in this position please get in touch with Gary Willis Txt only 027 7888136 ( please do not leave a phone message) A C.V of your previous work practice and learning would be appreciated Please email to boilerroom@xtra.co.nz Thank you for your consideration.
